FirstLink Pros ("FirstLink Pros," "we," "us" or "our") is a local SEO and web design company based in Hickory, North Carolina. This policy explains what information we collect when you use firstlinkpros.com or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have.

By using this website, you agree to this policy. If you don't agree with it, please don't use the site or send us your information.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form on this site, email us, call us or buy something from our shop, we may collect:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your business name and website
  • The services you're interested in and anything you tell us in your message
  • For shop purchases, your order details. Payments are handled by our payment processor, and we never see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server and the tools we use automatically record some information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, the site that sent you here and the date and time of your visit.

How we use it

  • To answer your questions, run your free audit and send quotes
  • To provide the services you hire us for and to communicate about your project
  • To process and deliver shop orders
  • To send marketing emails and texts, but only if you've agreed to receive them (see below)
  • To understand how people use our website and improve it
  • To measure and improve our advertising
  • To protect our website and forms from spam, fraud and abuse

We do not sell your personal information.

Emails and text messages

If you check the box on one of our forms, or otherwise tell us it's OK, we may send you occasional marketing emails and text messages with tips, news and offers from FirstLink Pros. Agreeing is optional and is never required to get a quote or work with us.

  • Texts: Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts at any time, or HELP for help.
  • Emails: Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • We will not share or sell your phone number or your agreement to receive texts with anyone else for their own marketing.

Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still contact you about a request you made or work we're doing for you.

Analytics and advertising

We use a few outside tools to understand how our site is used and to show our ads to people who may be interested in our services:

These companies collect information through their own cookies and similar technology, and their use of it is covered by their own privacy policies. You can also opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info.

Cookies

Cookies are small files your browser stores when you visit a website. We and the tools above use them to keep the site working, remember your choices, measure traffic and support our advertising. You can set your browser to block or delete cookies, though some parts of the site may not work as well.

Who we share it with

We share information only with companies that help us run our business, and only what they need to do their job. They are not allowed to use it for anything else. These include:

  • Our website hosting company
  • Our email and text messaging providers
  • Our payment processor, for shop orders
  • Spam and security protection for our forms
  • The analytics and advertising tools listed above

If FirstLink Pros is ever sold or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that deal, and it would remain covered by a policy at least as protective as this one.

Client accounts

When you hire us, you may give us access to accounts like your website, Google Business Profile, analytics or social media. We use that access only to do the work you hired us for, we don't share your account information with anyone who doesn't need it for that work, and you can remove our access at any time. Your accounts always belong to you.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to answer you, serve you as a client, keep proper business records and meet our legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

Your choices

  • Ask us what personal information we have about you
  • Ask us to correct or delete it
  • Opt out of marketing emails (unsubscribe link) or texts (reply STOP)
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser and use the opt-out links above

To make a request, email us at info@firstlinkpros.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including a secure (HTTPS) connection on this site and limited access to the information we keep. No website or method of storing information is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Our site links to other websites, such as client sites in our case studies and our social media pages. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their privacy policies.

Children's privacy

Our website and services are meant for adults and businesses. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Legal requests

We may share information if we're required to by law, such as in response to a subpoena or court order, or when we believe it's needed to protect our rights, our clients or the safety of others.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. Changes take effect when they're posted.
